Every great piece of jewelry starts with an idea. Our customer fell in love with the elegant MR7290 (reference above), a single-prong style 3 stone ring. The customer wanted it to be in Platinum for its metal and Rose Gold for its center only. The ruby at the center should be set in a double prong setting with 2 side baguette diamonds of approximately .25-.30 cts using VS2-G-H, finger size 8. We made a detailed digital design with this vision to bring the dream to life.
With this vision in mind, the first step was to create a detailed Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to transform the dream into a tangible reality. The CAD design brings together artistry and technology, allowing our artisans to visualize the exquisite ring before it's brought to life. The interplay of Platinum and Rose Gold was harmoniously integrated, resulting in a design that was both modern and classic.
Once the CAD design was approved, the next step was to create a mold. This pivotal stage required a delicate touch, as the mold would serve as the foundation for the casting process. With the ring's basic structure now complete, it was time for the artisans to perform their magic through hand-finishing. Every edge was smoothed, every surface polished to perfection, and every prong securely aligned to cradle the magnificent diamond.
